EVALUATION/EXAMINATION
SUNWAY INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS SCHOOL has an internationally recognized grading system where assignments constitute the basis for most of the evaluation of a students’ understanding of the subject and process in his/her course. Students also receive a regular feedback on their program and achievements.
Students are assessed on the following basis:
Internal Assignments: 25 Marks
External: 75 Marks
Grading System
Each unit will be graded as a Pass, Merit, or Distinction, depending upon the level of achievement of all outcomes against the specified criteria.
P: Pass
M: Merit
D: Distinction
R: Refer (student must redo the Assignment)
NS: No Submission
RW: Result Withheld
Guidelines for Internal Assessment:
The internal marks will be based on a continuous assessment and the following is to be adhered to:
• Test/Quiz’s (15 Marks). Best 2 out of 3.
• Presentation/Reports/Home assignments (5 Marks)
• Class attendance/General behaviour (5 marks)
Guidelines for External Practical / Viva-Voce:
The external practical /viva-voce will be conducted as per the guidelines given by an external examiner appointed by the University.
